Esglesia de Sant Pere de Galligants: Understand the fundamental components of Romanesque architecture.
Piazza Novanna (or other defined space) in relation to “carving” and communication of interior and exterior spaces. You can use an axon or plan to describe this. As you walk through Rome, notice two things: 1) How spaces are “carved” from mass and 2) how the interior spaces mesh with or at least communicate to exterior spaces. These are two important aspects that the Nolli plan describes (see attached Nolli).
